AU, Ka Yu Simon
Part-time Lecturer 


Simon took his first step on computer animation in the 90s when computer animation started to bloom. He has participated in various animation productions during these years, producing educational programs, short feature films, documentaries, video game trailers and TV series. These valuable experiences molded his foundation of 2D/3D animation, motion graphics and visual effects production. 
 
Simon graduated from the Hong Kong Shue Yan College with a Diploma in Journalism. He then further explored his interest in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, attaining a Master of Science Degree in Multimedia and Entertainment Technology. His final project, “Monster and I” received several international awards and acclamations.
 
As the Production Officer of Diocesan Audio-Visual Centre, he leads not only a team to produce animation series, but also producing religious documentaries and features.
