Dr. Lo began her professional journey as an editor and reporter, working across a range of media and publishing organizations where she built a solid foundation in journalism. Her early experiences in the newsroom not only honed her skills as a communicator but also sparked her curiosity about the broader dynamics of media and society. This passion eventually led her to academia, where she turned her focus to education and research.
She earned her PhD from Hong Kong Baptist University and has since devoted herself to exploring new directions in media research. Her work has appeared in leading peer reviewed journals, and she has been recognized with top paper awards at international conferences. Her research interests span journalism, cultural studies, critical approaches to mass communication, and new media.
