CHAN, Ho Sing Ernest
Part-time Lecturer
Ho Sing Ernest CHAN is a Hong Kong-based social entrepreneur, technology practitioner, and emerging researcher with over 15 years of professional experience spanning project management, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), DevOps, data analytics, and social impact technology. He is the Founder and Managing Director of AESIR.HK, recognised as one of Asia’s Top 12 Social Enterprises (DBS-NUS Social Venture Challenge) and a Global Top 500 Tech venture (HelloTomorrow). AESIR.hk develops AI-, AR-, and VR-enabled digital products and gamified learning tools that support special educational needs (SEN), neurodiverse individuals, healthcare, rehabilitation, education, and professional sectors (including government and academic clients).
His work has delivered measurable impact, including platform products serving government bodies (e.g., Hospital Authority, Education Bureau) and universities, annual turnover contributions in the multi-million range, significant cost savings/loss avoidance for clients, and support for tens of thousands of families through social ventures. He has raised equity financing for Healthcare AI Gaming initiatives and serves as a trainer for the Hong Kong Productivity Council, Cyberport and Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks (HKSTP).
Previously, he held project management roles at Electrolux AB (Stockholm, Sweden), managing global product range processes and digital/eCommerce strategies across Europe, Middle East and Africa, and earlier roles in GIS solutions at Esri China (Hong Kong). He has extensive civil service experience through multiple HKSAR Government appointments (tribunals and appeal boards) and youth research/policy work with the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG).
Ernest is now bridging practitioner experience in social technology, inclusive innovation, and AI applications with academic inquiry.
