Ruby To (Graduated in 2014)
 

Ruby To embarked on her colourful career journey starting from Shue Yan University’s Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication programme. She has been interested in electronic media and broadcasting since childhood. During her study in Shue Yan University, Ruby interned in the Public Affairs Department of Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) and Television Broadcasting Company (TVB), and subsequently joined the News and Information Department of TVB as an editor after graduation. She continued her studies and completed the Master of Arts in Global Political Economy and Social Sciences (MGPE) programme and Master of Art in Chinese Language and Literature programme at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In the following years she then completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Teacher Education (majoring in Chinese teaching) at the University of Hong Kong. After that Ruby decided to change her career path. Switching to education, she continues to utilize her knowledge in media and communication. She currently serves as the deputy director of external relations at the school. Her responsibilities include school publicity and parent-school communications. By carrying out her duties Ruby continues to disseminate information.

Ruby's message:

The all-round education of Journalism and Mass Communications in SYU, along with the learning in Our Voice (the facualty’s publication) have not only made me a professional journalist, but also broadened my horizons, allowing me to make a name for myself in different fields of society. It is a valuable learning experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

杜施惠  (2014年畢業生)

樹仁大學的新聞及大眾傳播學士課程為杜施惠(Ruby)開啟多姿多彩的事業旅程。施惠自小對傳媒、廣播有濃厚的興趣，其中對電子傳媒的興趣猶甚。在學期間，她先後在香港電台(RTHK)公共事務部和電視廣播有限公司(TVB)實習，並於畢業後隨即加入電視廣播有限公司新聞及資訊部擔任編輯。她其後持續進修，先後於香港中文大學修畢全球政治經濟社會科學碩士。（MGPE）中國語言文學文科碩士課程，再於香港大學完成學位教師教育文憑（中文教學主修），並開始改變跑道，轉投教育界。施惠於教育界繼續活用傳媒所學，她現時於學校出任對外聯絡副主任，主責學校的對外宣傳、家校溝通等工作，繼續肩負傳播信息的職責。
