Workshop on Experiential Technology in Advertising
The Department’s research project on Digital Marketing Communications went on to explore the far-reaching implications to advertising in a cross-disciplinary dialogue on July 10, 2024. The workshop featured Prof. Ben Lowe of Kent Business School from the University of Kent, UK, and veteran Hong Kong advertising partitioners Rudi Leung Chi-sing, founder and director of Hungry Digital Limited. The event discussed the growing concern of experiential technologies and how they transform existing advertising practices. The project, funded by the Research Grant Council, is led by Associate Department Head Dr. Crispy Tong.
