Dr. LO, Wai Yu Olivine
Part-time Senior Lecturer

Olivine is an all-round scholar in the mass communication discipline. She not only worked extensively in the public relations field for ten years before joining the academia she also teaches and developed some public relations and advertising courses. Her 16 years of teaching at the tertiary education includes institutions in Hong Kong and mainland China. More, she also teaches courses in communication theories, statistics for communication, and communication research methods. 

Olivine has worked in some renowned public relations agency in Hong Kong including Weber Shandwick, Ketchum and represented some international clienteles like Airbus, AMC Theatre, Boeing Company, BUPA, Canadian Airlines, Chubb, FedEx, Grant Thornton, HongKong Land, Korean Airlines, MasterCard, Otis Elevators, Quality Healthcare, South China Morning Post, and some local companies.

Olivine also serves the academic community as External Examiner for some tertiary institutions since 2015 and they include the Hong Kong College of Technology, Hong Kong University SPACE and Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong – The Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Community College (CUTW).
