YUEN, Tsz Man
Part-time Lecturer

A journalist by training from Hong Kong Shue Yan University, Tsz Man held several positions in the printed media in Hong Kong after graduation. Shifting away from the journalism career path, she worked in the Legislative Council and a think tank in the political sector with Executive Council member of the government, politicians, economists, public policy and political academics for several years before studying an MPA at the UCL Institute of Innovation for Public Purpose (IIPP). Her study focused on Innovation, Public Policy and Public Value.

From IIPP, Tsz Man has gained a more profound knowledge of innovation, systemic change and bottom-up participatory approaches. She believes that local solutions to more significant problems can have unpredictable effects while the government can be a tremendous driving force to produce public values through mission-oriented policy.

Tsz Man is currently a corporate communication professional of a public organisation in Hong Kong, endeavouring to bridge stakeholders and the masses. Prior to that, she worked in the Government Digital Service of the UK government for her policy research project about creating public value through personalisation of digital public service.
