BUT, Chor Fai Joshua
Lecturer

A journalism graduate of Hong Kong Shue Yan University, Joshua re-joined the Department of Journalism and Communication as a part-time teaching staff in September 2018 after a decade of practices in print journalism and corporate communications. He became a full-time lecturer in September 2020.

Joshua started off a dedicated journalism career first at English-language South China Morning Post, before switching to Chinese-language Hong Kong Economic Journal, and became the Deputy News Editor at the political desk. As a seasoned political journalist, Joshua had reported extensively on Hong Kong’s political reforms and elections, and the 2014 Occupy Movement.

Joshua earned his master’s degree in International Political Communications from the University of Sheffield, U.K., courtesy of the British Chevening Scholarship.
